Design & Construction
These slip rings use solid coin silver rings paired with silver graphite brushes to provide low electrical noise and consistent contact performance. The brush block assembly is molded as a single unit with a high-strength dielectric, helping maintain alignment and electrical isolation even as rotational speeds increase.

The rotor is machined from a one-piece aluminum sleeve, with the ring set molded directly into the assembly for stability and concentricity.

Configuration Flexibility
0.50 in Bore Slip Rings are available in multiple circuit counts and electrical configurations. Optional variations in voltage rating, current capacity, and lead styles allow the slip ring to be matched closely to system requirements without increasing overall size.

Typical Applications
0.50 in Bore Slip Rings are commonly used in systems where compact size and reliable electrical continuity are required through continuous rotation, including:

  • Automation and test equipment
  • Robotics and motion platforms
  • Medical and laboratory devices
  • Defense, surveillance, and gimbal systems
  • Precision industrial machinery
