Designed with a Separate Rotor and Dedicated Brush Block
SLIP RINGS
2.00 in Bore Slip Rings
Fabricast 2.00 in Bore Slip Rings deliver stable electrical continuity for rotating systems that require the largest through-bore size in the standard product line. Designed to accommodate dense cabling, shafts, or tubing, these slip rings are commonly used in radar systems, EO/IR platforms, and heavy-duty automation applications.

Design & Construction
Our 2.00 inch bore slip rings are configured for rotary platforms where internal space drives the mechanical layout of the system. Large-diameter conductors are arranged to support consistent electrical transfer, while silver graphite contact elements are selected to manage current flow and contact stability over continuous rotation.
Electrical components are supported within a rigid insulating framework that maintains separation and alignment as system mass and rotational forces increase. The rotor body is formed from a precision-machined sleeve that integrates the conductive ring set directly into the assembly, providing structural stability and smooth rotational behavior across the full-bore diameter.
Typical Applications
2.00 in Bore Slip Rings are specified for large-format rotating equipment where maximum through-bore clearance is required, including:
- High-capacity rotary platforms and turntables
- Radar and antenna systems
- Large sensor arrays and rotating enclosures
- Defense and aerospace assemblies with bundled cabling or fluid routing
- Custom industrial machinery with oversized shafts or pass-through components
